Q: What is PASS?

A: PASS is a comprehensive Warehouse Management System (WMS), which is conceptually innovative, functionally rich and technically advanced. The functionality of PASS are broken down into discrete modules which cover all the activities in the warehouse: - Stock Level Management - Location / racking control - Goods In To Despatch - Pallet Control - Bill Of Material (BOM) - Order Management - Picking - Comprehensive audit trail PASS is also a multi-site solution. PASS is easy to use with a simple intuitive user interface throughout, built on the foundation of over 25 years experience in warehouse control. Parameters can be set and changed to provide unique flexibility. PASS can also have RF terminals, barcode, WiFi and EDI modules added to the core package.

Q: What database does PASS utilise?

A: PASS can use several databases including MS Access, MS SQL200, MS SQL2005, MS SQL2008 and MySQL.

Q: Does your WMS, PASS application, record bonded stock?

A: Yes, bonded stock can be recorded within the PASS application. This is an additional module that can be easily be added and configured to meet your requirements,

Q: How does support work?

A: Support is provided by Newline between 9.00am and 5.30pm for standard office hours support. This support is provided for a simple monthly fee. Telephone support, up to 24/7 cover can be provided if required. Contact us for more details.

Q: Does Newline Sell Hardware?

A: No, Newline does not stock or sell any computer hardware. Newline will however help you identify the hardware that you require and provide you with contact details for you to purchase the hardware yourself. Alternatively Newline can purchase the hardware for you but this may incur some additional charges, eg delivery.
